Economic operators (GPSR)

It is mandatory to assign a responsible economic operator in the EU to your products. Create these easily via ProductFlow.

Updated over 2 months ago

Currently, this functionality is only supported for ANWB, Bol, Kaufland, Kruidvat and MediaMarkt. As soon as there is more clarity from other sales channels, we will start supporting them as well.

Economic operators

Below you will find step by step how to create the responsible EU operators in ProductFlow and assign them to the right products per sales channel.

Step 1. Create the Economic operators in ProductFlow.
On the Economic operator page, you have the option to create the responsible EU operators in ProductFlow. On this page click the plus sign to add them.
Give the responsible operator a recognizable name and fill in all the details. Remember to click save, the Economic operator will be added to your account.

Create an Economic operator for each responsible operator applicable to you in ProductFlow.

Step 2. Assign the Economic operator to your products.
Next you can assign the Economic operator to the products, you do this per sales channel. This way you can assign a different responsible operator per product per sales channel, if applicable.

It is possible to assign the Economic operator to the appropriate products via the bulk action 'Offer listing'. Select the sales channel and Economic operator you want to assign to the products from the selection here.

In the product you will also find an 'Economic operators' page. In this overview you can see which responsible operator is assigned to which sales channel for that product. Here you also have the possibility to change this.

Once an Economic operator is assigned to a sales channel for a product, it is synchronized to the corresponding sales channel.

Please note! If an Economic operator is assigned for Kaufland or MediaMarkt, it is not yet automatically resynchronized. Thus, after adding an Economic operator for Kaufland or MediaMarkt, it is important that you yourself dis- and re-enable the content synchronization to Kaufland or MediaMarkt so that the Economic operators are synchronized.

The Economic operator data for Kruidvat is added to the product description at Kruidvat. This is how Kruidvat implemented this.
So the data from the linked Economic operator is automatically added to the back of the description at Kruidvat.

Exceptions

Galeria Inno

At Galeria Inno, the Economic operator is part of the content process. Currently, content for Galeria Inno is not supported through ProductFlow. Therefore, it is also not currently possible to manage the Economic operator for Galeria Inno via ProductFlow.

Zalando
Zalando unfortunately does not make it possible to create an Economic operator via the API. This means that as a seller you have to create the responsible operator in your Zalando account.
